World Menopause Day

Celebrating World Menopause Day at Bilgola Beach on 18th October. This human heart installation was organised by Dr Ceri Cashell to raise awareness about heart disease in women.

Did you know that 1 in 3 women die from heart disease? However, women who start hormone replacement therapy around the time of menopause are 50% less likely to have a heart attack.
