Dr. Jeff Cavanaugh. Practice Principal. Practicing as a GP for 35 years, 25 years in Avalon before that in Goulburn and University of NSW. All aspects of General Practice with special Interests in treatment of skin cancers. Available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, some Tuesdays and some Saturdays.
Dr. Paul Klemes. Practicing for 27 years in General Practice – Central Coast, Murwillumbah, Narrabeen, Macquarie Island, Clovelly, Canada, and now 17 years in Avalon. All aspects of General Practice. Available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and some Saturdays
Dr. Ceri Cashell. 15 years in General Practice – Edinburgh, Belfast and 6 years in Avalon. Enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, some Thursdays and some Saturdays.
Dr. Sharron Davis. Practicing for 20 years. Aboriginal Medical Service, Redfern, Avalon, Dee Why, Fairlight. Past Lecturer at University of Sydney (Clinical Medicine). Special Interests: Women’s Health including Shared Antenatal Care, Implanon insertion, Preventative Health, Mental Health, First Nation’s and Indigenous Peoples Health Issues. Children and Babies. Dr. John Eccles. 40 years a GP in Avalon, 20 years in the Childrens Hospital Network, currently at Bear Cottage, Manly. Paediatrics, all aspects of General Practice. Available on Monday and Friday all day, Wednesday morning, and Thursday afternoon and some Saturdays
Dr. Virginia Solomon. Practicing as GP for 26 years, in Balmain and Bondi and now in Avalon since January 2019. Practicing all areas of GP with special interests in women and children’s health, including Shared Antenatal Care at Northern Beaches Hospital. Available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays.
Dr. Michelle Howland. Practicing for 20 years in General Practice and the last 3 years in Avalon. Enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interest in Women’s Health. Available on Tuesday and Friday.
Dr Richard Kind. Having initially trained as a GP in the UK, he and his family relocated to Avalon in 2018. He enjoys and is skilled in all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in men’s health and chronic disease. Available from February 2020, Monday and Friday all day, Wednesday afternoon and most Saturdays.

Trained at Mona Vale District Hospital from 1972-1976. Has worked at AFMP as PN on a casual holiday/other cover for 8 years.

APPOINTMENT & FEES
Appointments are scheduled at 15-minute intervals. Please let us know if the matter is urgent, or if you require a longer consultation, e.g. insurance medicals, check-ups, travel advice, counselling or if multiple problems are to be discussed.
If more than one person needs to be seen, separate appointments need to be booked. This helps us to keep appointments running to schedule. Emergency appointments will always be accommodated on the day. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please phone and let us know as early as possible, so that we can re-schedule and use your appointment for another patient.
