Dr Jaimie Rees - Starting 2 December

We are very excited to announce that we are now taking bookings to see Dr Jaimie Rees who will be commencing at Avalon Family Medical Practice on 2 December 2025.

Dr Rees is originally from Wales in the UK and first trained as a pharmacist before becoming a GP. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) in the UK. She has called Australia home since 2014.

Dr Rees is experienced in child and adolescent health, chronic disease management, general medicine, palliative care, preventative medicine and women's health.

Dr Rees has a special interest in women's health, particularly midlife health, perimenopause and menopause care. She is a member of the Australian Menopause Society and the International Menopause Society and she is dedicated to advancing her knowledge in menopause care. With a patient-centred approach she is passionate about supporting women through midlife, empowering them with information to make choices to optimise their health and wellbeing.

Dr Rees is available in the practice on Tuesday and Wednesday commencing from 2 December 2025.
